1. How far can the distance between the module and the antenna be
Before we talk about this problem, we need to understand the following two concepts:
Direct matching antenna: the antenna is directly connected with the MFR500 through wires, and the distance is generally less than 2cm. 50 ohm matched antenna: The antenna and MFR500 are connected by 50 ohm coaxial cable. Theoretically, this distance can reach 10 meters. Because this antenna not only requires MFRC500 to be connected through 50 ohm coaxial cable. Theoretically, this distance can reach 10 meters. Because the antenna requires not only a resonance of 13.56M, but also a resonance resistance of 50 ohms, and the parameters of each antenna are different, the production is difficult.
The antennas provided with the ZLG500 module are all direct matching antennas.
2. What are the differences between V1.0 and V2.0 antennas
V1.0 antenna is a two-layer circuit board without electronic shielding, while V2.0 is a four layer circuit board with electronic shielding, so its EMC performance is better than the former. Two types of antennas have been used in a situation with large interference. The V2.0 antenna works normally, while the V1.0 antenna often makes the program run away. It is recommended to use V1.0 antenna in general occasions, such as office access control attendance; However, V2.0 antenna is used for occasions with large interference, such as gasoline vehicle toll collector. 4g lte antenna
3. The alternating magnetic field generated by the metal object antenna around the antenna will induce a voltage on the metal object near it, so as to generate eddy currents on the metal surface, causing antenna detuning and weakening the magnetic field. The result is reduced working distance and possible transmission errors. It is recommended that the distance between the antenna and a large number of metal objects should be at least the working distance, and the final tuning of the antenna should be carried out in the actual metal working environment.
The tuning of the antenna provided by this module is realized in a metal free environment. If there are many metals in the actual application, the antenna must be re tuned. The method can be as follows:; Add a variable capacitor (0-68p) to the antenna, and then adjust the capacitor from small to large without inductors in practical applications to maximize the operating distance.
