Background:
A client from the United States reached out to RF element for a custom 5GHz MIMO sector antenna with precise performance goals. They planned to use a set of four antennas to create a full 360-degree spread of 5.8GHz WiFi signals. This project needed careful planning to fulfill the client's high standards for gain and exacting beamwidth specifications.
Challenges:
The main hurdle was to craft an antenna with a gain over 15dBi and a 90-degree horizontal beamwidth. This was key for the client's plan to arrange four antennas to achieve total 360-degree signal coverage.

3. Polarization Design: To reduce interference when four antennas were used together, we incorporated a ±45-degree polarization scheme. This choice improved signal handling and supported the antenna's high-gain performance.
